Available today in the App Store, Evomail+ has launched with new features, functionality, and design to complement the iOS 7 experience.

We’re proud to say we’ve listened to and learned a lot from our users since our initial launch in spring 2013, and have taken careful consideration of each feature request and issue. The result, an entirely new mobile mail app supported from the start by our proprietary server, EvoCloud.

We’ve renamed it to Evomail+ to help make the distinction between this iteration and the original. But like before, it’s available as a free download.

“With Evomail+, we’re bringing an incredible new platform to the table to continue building upon,” said Jonathan George, CEO and co-founder of Evomail. Evomail+ will not only deliver better usability to our customers today, but now has the right foundation to allow future development to continue advancing mobile mail.

He says that email is hard and that a high bar has to be reached in order for customers to make the jump to a new app. “I’m happy to say that not only have we met it, we’ve leaped over it with Evomail+.”

Be Nimbler: Our new One Button feature allows us not to clutter navigation by putting all of your functionality needs, like replying and forwarding, within one central button.

“With the re-design of Evomail+ we focused on streamlining the user’s experience by creating the One Button, a single blue button that adapts to contextually fit within its environment allowing for faster navigation of your inbox and messages,” explained Dominic Flask, co-founder and chief designer.

Serve Greater: With our proprietary server solution, EvoCloud, every user gets a better Evomail experience. From tremendous bug reduction to improved push notifications, EvoCloud makes Evomail what it’s supposed to be.

Personalize More: With customizable gestures, you decide what each swipe means. Within settings, toggle to use left or right swipes for mark as read, snooze, archive, delete, or label.

Triage Quicker: Swift access to archive, trash, and labels gives you the ability to quickly triage your email throughout the day as it comes in, instead of having to wait until you’re back at your desktop.

Connect Smarter: Need to share a presentation with someone? Easily attach files from Dropbox or Box.net from within the compose view!

Evomail Snooze

Read Later: Snooze your emails with just two taps! Prefer to keep an Inbox Zero before an early weekend? Just snooze the messages until a later date and they’ll return on time to your inbox. Need to retrieve them sooner than that? There’s a dedicated Snooze folder.

Search Easier: In the car and forgot to write down an address? Use Evomail’s built-in, full-access Gmail search to quickly find all of your new and archived Gmail messages.

Know Sooner: Never miss a new message with Evomail’s built-in push notifications. ”EvoCloud checks for new messages automatically, in real-time, so there’s no need to set a schedule to do so,” explained George.

Access More: Someone replied to an email from a while back? You can view the entire conversation history, not just the most recent message or two.

“The launch of Evomail+ brings an experience built specifically for iOS 7. We’ve focused a tremendous amount of energy into building a new version that brings, not only improved stability, but enhancements based on the treasure trove of feedback our customers have provided us since our first release mid-2013,” said David McGraw, co-founder and chief developer. In fact, we welcome feedback for feature requests and app improvements any time through our help desk.

“If you’ve previously used Evomail, expect to discover an array of new improvements when you download Evomail+. From iOS 7′s new background syncing, external keyboard support, and dynamic text to new settings that help customize the mail experience you need, this is just the beginning of even greater things to come!” he said.

Beautiful and functional interface, but is very slow and does not load the messages out of the inbox, there are also problems with push notifications.

    • Brandi Koskie

Auguimar – we actually did some major tuning up on the server side yesterday, as well as released update 2.0.2 this week, and you should see significant improvement with these. Quickest reply if you’re still having trouble will come from us on Twitter @Evomail.
